We’ve just released an update to the VeriShow platform, which covers bug fixes, support for the Metro browser and various bug fixes.

Main Updates

  • Improved audio and Flash Player 11 – VeriShow now requires agents and visitors to have Adobe Flash Player 11+ installed. This enables us to utilize a new audio encoder, which contributes to a higher quality audio conversation! As the majority of users already have Flash Player 11, it is unlikely that agents or visitors will need to update Flash, however, they will be automatically prompted to if this is the case.
  • Internet Explorer 10 Metro support – Visitors using Internet Explorer 10 Metro version on Windows 8 are now supported. Visitors clicking the Live Help button to join a chat will now be guided to switch to the Desktop version of Internet Explorer 10. The user flow from that point is as on other browsers.
  • Co-browser – we further improved our powerful web co-browser solution, e.g. agent/visitor synchronization and bug fixes. If you would like a demo, please contact us.
  • Bug fixes – various bugs were addressed, e.g. an issue with joining a meeting (when starting a session from the ‘Start a Session’ button and inviting a participant)
